Why are Aries Car Rental rates so competitive?
We are a Perth-based company that provides great customer service, the newest vehicles, and the best prices. We also promise no hidden fees, ever.
Our published rates are inclusive of GST, unlike some other car rental companies. Once the best 7 day rate is secured, the same rates apply on any extensions. For example, for a $38 per day vehicle on a 7 day special, the 8th day (and so on) will remain at $38 per day.
Exclusions applies. Extension rates do not apply to any other on going promotional rates.

What is the difference between the local and unlimited km plan?
To suit your travel needs, we have a local 100km/day plan that can be used within a 100km radius of Perth.
The unlimited km plan can be used within a 500km radius of Perth. With the local 100km/day plan, you can travel as far north as Yanchep and as far south as Mandurah. With the unlimited km plan, you can travel between Geraldton and Albany.
If you’re outside of this 500km radius, but still within a 1200km radius, there will be a remote surcharge. This allows you to travel between the boundaries of Exmouth, Meekatharra, Kalgoorlie, Norseman and Esperance.
What is an excess and how do I reduce it?
All our cars come with comprehensive insurance, but there’s also a standard excess. It’s a vehicle’s standard liability and the maximum amount you would have to pay in the event of an accident. The amount varies according to the vehicle and ranges from $99.00 – $5,000 depending on the type of vehicle.
For example, a car with $5,000 standard liability means that any damages caused by the hirer up to $5,000 in repair costs will be paid by the hirer. This payment for repair costs is called the ‘excess’.
You can reduce the excess by taking the liability reduction option, which reduces it to as low as $99. Please note: there’s also an administration fee of $110 in the event of an accident, regardless of fault (on top of the excess).
What is not covered under the comprehensive insurance?
Our comprehensive insurance covers collision damages to the vehicle as a result of an accident limited to a maximum amount of $50,000.
Please note that all our vehicles must be used on sealed roads ONLY. For more details on the terms and conditions of your car hire, refer to part B in our hire agreement.
What should I do in the event of an accident?
Please remain calm, and do not admit liability or make any offer or promise of settlement without the company’s consent. Where there is damage to the vehicle or a person injured, the police should be informed immediately. Promptly report the accident and all details to the company’s office, together with a police report lodged within 24 hours.
Refer to our Part B agreement in the event of an accident and obtain all relevant details from the 3rd party. This includes their name, contact information and insurer’s details.
